Description :
As part of the AGIR TÔT Project, the Montréal West Island IUHSSC is currently seeking a Psychoeducator to fill a full-time position at the CLSC du Lac-St-Louis.

As part of his/her duties, the incumbent designs, implements, analyses and assesses programs aimed at the psycho-social rehabilitation of the users.

Position in early stimulation team in intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder and physical disability. Will participate in the implementation of the "Agir tôt" program in connection with the digital platform "Approche interactive du développement de l’enfant" (AIDE). The professional will participate in the detection of developmental delays and the accompaniment of children in collaboration with families and childcare settings. Stimulation and early intervention in individual and group situations. Interdisciplinary team work.

Schedule: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM / Does not work on weekends. / Will be called to move in the other installations of the Montréal West Island IUHSSC.
Requirements :
- Must have a master's degree in psychoeducation;
- Must be a member of l'Ordre des psychoéducateurs et psychoéducatrices du Québec;
- Knowledge of child development 0-5 years and screening and evaluation tools (asset);
- Knowledge of neuro-developmental disorders (asset);
- Knowledge of the organization of services (1st, 2nd and 3nd line) (asset);
- Experience in stimulation or early intervention (asset);
- Capacity to communicate easily, both orally and in writing, in French and in English;
- Must have a valid driver's license and a car to travel.
