Description :

A person who, under the responsibility of a pharmacist or other person, has the function of assisting
him or her in the preparation of oral, topical or parenteral medicines using aseptic techniques and
established protocols. The technical assistant responds to the demands of the care units, enters the
prescriptions and uses the technologies to assist the pharmacist in the continuity of the pharmaceutical
services. He ensures the safe distribution of drugs, participates in the application of container-content
delegation and certain tasks or projects.

Cinq (5) opportunités sont actuellement disponibles au CIUSSS de l'Ouest-de-l'Ile-de-Montréal :

- 3 emplois temporaires à l'Hôpital Lasalle, à temps complet de jour (incluant 1/2 fin de semaine);
- 1 emploi temporaire au Centre hospitalier de St-Mary, à temps complet en rotation jour/nuit (incluant 1/2 fin de semaine);
- 1 emploi temporaire l'Institut universitaire en santé mentale Douglas, à temps partiel (4 jours/semaine), de jour (incluant 1/2 fin de semaine).

Requirements :

- Diploma of professional studies (DEP) in technical assistance in pharmacy from a school recognized by the Ministry of Education, Recreation and Sports.
- Hospital pharmacy experience (asset).
- Test to succeed as part of the selection process.
- Knowledge of the Windows environment
- Knowledge of the nature and particularities of pharmaceutical products
- Knowledge of medical abbreviations
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and asepsis techniques
- Concern for the quality of customer service
- Sense of priorities
- Ability to communicate with a Francophone and Anglophone clientele.
-Must know the international system, the nature and particularities of pharmaceutical products to manipulate, pharmaceutical calculations and aseptic techniques.
