Description :
The Montréal West Island Integrated University Health and Social Services Center (MWI IUHSSC) is looking to fill long term replacements at the Emergency Room.

Responsibilities:
The Emergency nurse will be required to:
• Perform a variety of nursing services according to the bio-psycho-social needs of the patients or groups of people under her/his care;
• Assess the health status of patients, determine and ensure the implementation of nursing treatment and care plans;
• Provide nursing and medical care and treatments with a view to maintain or restore health and preventing disease;
• Plan, deliver and assess teaching for patients, their relatives or close friends and groups of people;
• Participate in research aimed at promoting health and preventing disease.
Requirements :
• DEC or Bachelor's degree in Nursing;
• Membership with the OIIQ;
• Functional bilingualism.
